THINK: Live Music and Fireworks! There will be no shortage of live music throughout the area! Preservation Plaza is a great spot to gather with families for FREE concerts overlooking West Lake Okoboji! Click HERE for concert listings. Highlights include Pasian on July 4th followed by the marquee event of the weekend: FIREWORKS over beautiful West Lake Okoboji, and the wildly popular Pork Tornadoes on July 5th, and the Rolling Stoners on the 6th, followed by another incredible night of FIREWORKS. Just bring chair or blankets to sit on, and be ready for fun the kids will be talking about for weeks!

Think: Lake Life! No visit to Okoboji would be complete without enjoying the main attraction: The Lake! There is plenty of fun to be had on the water, whether you want a relaxing day at the beach, a ride on the Queen or rent a boat and explore the lakes yourself! You can also get your exercise in on the water with a paddle board class or kayak adventure!
THINK: Shopping! Shopping in Okoboji has never been better! From trendy boutiques, to gourmet foods, antiques, home decor and fabulous Okoboji wear you will not go away empty handed. Besides all the amazing shopping at The Emporium, Queen's Court, and The Great Lakes Mall you will not want to miss the Antique and Flea markets around the area. You can find loads of treasures and good food at the Antique and Flea markets at Treasure Village, Vick's Corner, and The Dickinson Co. Fairgrounds from July 4th - 7th. You can also find fresh produce and products from local artisans at Farmers Market in the Park July 6th from 7:30 am - 12 pm or the Lakes Area Farmers Market at the Dickinson County Fair Grounds July 3rd and July 6th from 7:30 am- 12 pm.
