Visitors can step inside one of the area’s oldest preserved artifacts while exploring immersive displays and learning about the lasting impact of the railroads on the Iowa Great Lakes.

Throughout the season, the museum also offers engaging programs and events, including Way Back When Wednesdays, weekly history conversations held Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m., as well as the History Lives! Speaker Series, featuring presentations and Q&A sessions with local historians.
