The Mellow Dees of Okoboji

The Mellow Dees are a trio with deep roots in the Iowa Great Lakes. Our name is indicative of the casual or mellow music we play. With easy listening instrumentals from jazz and show tunes to praise music, alternative, and today’s pop cover songs, we are able to tailor a unique soundscape for your special event.

You won’t find a group like this anywhere else! We are a trio of electric piano, keyboard, and bass guitar, with some percussion, woodwinds, and vocals. Contact us for events such as: weddings, cocktail parties, fundraising events, patio parties, company events, birthdays, anniversaries, and more.

The twist on the spelling of Melody gives homage to first names “D” (Diane and Deb) and “E” (Eric). As musicians, we offer decades of music education, along with writing, arranging and performing music.
