“Sonic the Hedgehog 3” has a runtime of approximately 1 hour and 49 minutes, and the plot centers around Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles facing off against a powerful new villain, Shadow, who possesses abilities that significantly challenge Team Sonic, forcing them to seek unlikely alliances to protect the planet; the film also features the return of Dr. Robotnik, with a twist involving his long-lost grandfather, Gerald Robotnik, also played by Jim Carrey.
