The Okoboji Summer Theatre has been owned and operated by Stephens College, Columbia Mo, since 1958, and is celebrating its 67th season in the Iowa Great Lakes. At Okoboji students from the Conservatory for the Performing Arts at Stephens College, work side-by-side and learn from nationally recognized professional artists, actors, designers, and directors from across the country to present seven mainstage productions over an eight week period. Student’s schedules are designed to immerse them in a living and learning environment that includes musical theater, interdisciplinary theater studies, costume design, box office, and marketing.
