Boji Bantam Children’s Theatre:  The Emperor’s New Clothes

The famous vain Emperor is obsessed with the newest, the fanciest, the most beautiful clothes — but at what cost to his citizens and reputation? His hardworking maids narrate as the arrogant Emperor is conned by two hucksters into parading through town in his special “birthday suit.”

Tickets: $7 per patron – general seating. Available at the door only on the day of performance. Show Times are 10:30am daily Wednesday through Saturday. Doors Open 10:00 a.m. Arrive early as seats fill quickly. Groups of 10 or more call Box Office: 712-332-7773.

Boji Bantam is part of the Okoboji Summer Theatre program. Based out of Stephens College, Columbia, Missouri, theatre students from Stephens are joined with and learn from professional artists, actors, and directors from around the country to present seven mainstage productions and one Boji Bantam Children’s Theatre production each summer over a seven week period. Okoboji Summer Theatre has been in the Iowa Great Lakes area for 66 summers.
