Okoboji Classic Cars

The 65,000 square foot building was a project vision, lead by Toby Shine, with the architectural design provided by Paul Maurer of Spencer, Iowa, and construction lead by Jerry Uittenbogaard of Sheldon, Iowa.

Two-thirds of the structure – 48,000 square feet – have been devoted to a custom car showroom with a life size diorama of 1950’s Main Street Spencer, Iowa and 1960’s scene surrounding Arnolds Park, with it’s iconic amusement park and view overlooking West Lake Okoboji. As the largest known indoor mural at 28,000 square feet, 400 gallons of paint were used to complete the iconic scenes.

Mint condition classic cars can be found parked within this ultimate man cave. Sounds of the 1950’s and 60’s can be heard playing as you walk the streets of downtown Spencer or stop to enjoy the sunset on Okoboji’s Smith’s Bay.

Okoboji Classic Cars is a destination experience that will rev the engines of any car enthusiast and art lover alike, and the perfect setting for your next event!
