This well-manicured par 72 course has four sets of tees to accommodate players of all skill levels, and play 6,900 yards from the championship tees. The County Club welcomes non-residents of Spencer to golf anytime that the course is available. It is well worth the short drive from the lakes area to enjoy the memorable golf experience that awaits you. After your round of golf, stay and enjoy a meal and drinks in the full service restaurant. The Country Club is also a great choice for hosting a corporate golf outing or organization fundraiser. They can accommodate groups as big as 180 golfers with tournament scoring, scorecards, names of players on carts and other services managed by the PGA Professional. The banquet room is an excellent choice for your next business meeting or wedding reception. The Country Club is the home of the Northwest Amateur Golf Tournament, which it has hosted since 1921. The tournament is played by 350 to 400 golfers each year, and it is currently the only 72 hole amateur tournament in the state of Iowa.
