Our Mission
The Okoboji Tourism Committee is a committee of the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. Our mission is to responsibly promote the Iowa Great Lakes Area to potential and returning visitors. Through destination marketing, our work attracts visitors, improves the economy, and creates jobs throughout the Iowa Great Lakes Area. We accomplish this through regional and national marketing, public relations, advocacy, and being a friendly point of contact for our visitors. We are able to provide these services to our community, local businesses, and visitors through the financial support of shared hotel motel tax from the following municipalities: Arnolds Park, Dickinson County, Milford, Okoboji, and Spirit Lake. With a staff of 2 directed by a 16-member committee, our team excels at what we do.
