Okoboji Summer Theatre proudly presents the beloved musical You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Based on the iconic Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, this heartwarming production offers a joyful and honest look at childhood through a series of playful scenes filled with humor, imagination, and sincerity. 

Audiences will reconnect with favorite characters like Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, and Linus as they navigate the challenges and simple joys of growing up—from baseball games and school assignments to first crushes and quiet moments of reflection. 

The cast features students from Stephens College’s Conservatory for the Performing Arts, who bring their rigorous training and collaborative spirit to the stage. 

This production is directed by guest artist and Stephens College Alum, Susie Dycus, whose professional insight and directorial vision offer a fresh and engaging take on this timeless musical. 

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown runs Tuesday, July 22 through Sunday, July 27. We invite audiences of all ages to enjoy this delightful and thoughtful celebration of life’s everyday moments.
