    The Abbie Gardner-Sharp Cabin is a genuine 1850’s log cabin built by the Gardner family, along with an interpretive center with all the historic information regarding the Spirit Lake Massacre. Many artifacts from the era are on display, and site manager Mike Koppert will be happy to give you an in-depth view of the early settlers in the lake area. Hours are 12pm to 4pm. Tuesday- Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm, closed on Mondays except Memorial Day open 9am to 4 pm. Admission is Free-Will donation.
